The Amateur Players Tour UK is dedicated to providing an unparalleled golf experience, challenging players, and fostering a strong community. We are excited to present our rules, services, and how you can become a part of the 2027 season.
Explore our services
The tour delivers competitive amateur golf experiences categorized into two handicap divisions (Class 1: 0-9; Class 2: 10-18). Players earn Order of Merit points via monthly club competitions, competing for cash prizes, new drivers, and qualification into the elite Carnoustie Grand Finale and international team events.
Important rules for participants
Participants must maintain an active WHS handicap and a minimum two-year BRS history. Play strictly follows the official R&A Rules of Golf and local club rules. Inappropriate scoring results in immediate disqualification, and all formal disputes must be submitted in writing within twenty-four hours.
How to join the tour
You must secure an active APT membership for 2027 and maintain an active WHS handicap alongside a two-year BRS history. Additionally, players are required to submit at least two official club competition scores every single month through recognised local club events.
